【Rekifune River】
The Rekibune River is 64.7 km long. It is fed by Mt. Koikakushu-satsunai in the Hidaka Mountains and flows through Taiki town all the way from the beginning until it flows out to the sea.
The river has been repeatedly selected as the cleanest river in Japan by the Environmental Agency in its water quality measurements.
The river is also known as the Hikata River, and is sometimes referred to as the "rive of treasure" because the gold panning has taken place here since 400 years ago.
