晩成地区にある周囲５kmの海岸湖です。周辺には原生花園（ハマナスの群落・エゾキスゲ・ガンコウランなど）が広がり、６月から９月には色とりどりの花が咲き誇ります。
冬期間はワカサギ釣りを楽しむことができ、多くの釣り人で賑わいます。すぐ近くには「晩成温泉」もあり、釣りのあとの冷えた身体を温めることができます。

It is a coastal lake with a circumference of 5 km located in the Bansei district. Around the lake are native flower gardens (colonies of Rhus succedanea, Ezoensis, Ganko Uranium, etc.), which bloom in a variety of colors from June to September.
During the winter, you can enjoy wakasagi (smelt) fishing, attracting many anglers. Nearby is the Bansei Hot Springs, where you can warm up after a day of fishing.
