Mt. Moiwa (185 meters above sea level) is located north of the city center.
There is a roadway that allows visitors to drive up the mountain, and from the top, you can view the city of Taiki and the beautiful Hidaka Mountains beyond the city.
In the park at the foot of the mountain, visitors can enjoy cherry blossoms in the spring, and honeysuckle and lotus flowers in early summer.
You can also see a variety of wild birds, making it a perfect place for bird watching.
